Patricia B. Sierra is an experienced, board certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist, specializing in cornea, cataract, glaucoma and laser vision correction.

Dr. Sierra received her undergraduate and medical degrees from the National Autonomous University of Honduras. After completing an internship at Mercy Catholic Medical Center in Philadelphia, she obtained her ophthalmology degree at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Sierra later pursued fellowship training with internationally recognized leaders at Minnesota Eye Consultants/Phillips Eye Hospital in Minneapolis. She has lived and practiced in Sacramento for the past four years.

A member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Association of Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery, Dr. Sierra specializes in cornea, cataract, glaucoma and laser vision correction.

A native of Honduras, LASIK and cataract surgeon Dr. Sierra is fluent in both English and Spanish. She lives in Sacramento with her husband and two small children.
